The E64 WS brings two technologies from Mahlkönig professional grinders home: grind by weight and Grind-by-Sync. The scale measures the dose to 0.1 g.
A motor moves the burrs and the patented DDD system shows their distance in microns. Zero is calibrated without tools, guided by the display, which also walks you through dialling in a new coffee.
Connect the grinder via the Mahlkönig Sync app to a machine or the Sync Scale and it adjusts the grind after every shot. Without a connection, enter the brew time on the display and the grinder suggests a correction.

E64 WS or X54?
The X54 is an allround grinder for espresso and filter with time presets. The E64 WS specialises in espresso: it weighs the coffee, has electric adjustment and connects to the machine. If you mostly drink espresso and value consistency, choose the E64 WS.
Does the E64 WS work with any machine?
As a grinder with a scale, yes. Automatic grind correction needs a Sync-compatible machine or the Mahlkönig Sync Scale placed under the cup.
